Mr. Markman’s illustrations have been published in various periodicals such as The Nation, NY Newsday and The Jersey City Journal. Mr. Markman has lectured and taught at the Urban League, City College, Hudson Community College and The Brooklyn and Metropolitan Museums. Text Box: The founder of Markman Designs is Michael Markman. Mr. Markman is an artist and educator. Mr. Markman is a graduate of the High School Of Music And Art. He holds a BFA from The School Of Visual Arts and a MS from The College of Mount Saint Vincent. Mr. Markman’s art work has been on display in galleries and restaurants throughout the United States. His work has been showcased at the NYC Parks Department Gallery, The Jersey City Mayors Office Gallery and the Savacou Gallery. His work has also been displayed at Mobay and Amy Ruth Restaurants.
